PROFILE

Greetings! My name is Tamara Wrenn and I am the proud mother of a dynamic and creative 11 year old daughter and the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Just Us Women Productions, LLC.  It is truly an honor and a pleasure to be able to share my passions with you.

This is a safe space for you to begin the process of reaching the quintessence of health. Let me introduce myself to you. My journey into health began over 14 years ago working with pregnant and parenting teenagers in the Bronx. A few years later the birth of my daughter created a fire and passion for facilitating the process of women finding their personal power using childbirth as the vehicle. That passion has since transcended into my seeking opportunities to help others craft their personal vision of wellness that takes them beyond the childbearing years.

I am an Independent Certified Childbirth Educator. I am certified by the Childbirth Education Association of Metropolitan, NY and I am also a board member.  My additional certifications include:

I recently followed my dream and opened a Wellness Studio in New Rochelle, NY-- the Westchester based location of Just Us Women Productions, LLC. The Wellness Studio enables me to create a centrally located safe space where visitors, like you, can be supported in achieving their vision of a healthy and balanced lifestyle using cultural and traditional, non-medical methods.

My academic background includes a M.A. in Guidance and Counseling from New York University and an undergraduate degree from Iona College, New Rochelle, NY.

A noted speaker and presenter some of my recent engagements include; presenter - 7th Annual Nassau County Perinatal Services Network Conference; panelist - Annual Entrepreneurial Tea hosted by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Pi Psi Omega Chapter; presenter/co-chair - 2008 Annual Bronx Regional Perinatal Forum; and presenter - 2007 Healthy Start Grantees Meeting.  My consulting skills and services include curriculum development, community assessments, outreach and marketing planning, workshop facilitation, speaking engagements, essays and articles on birth and wellness. As a published author my work has appeared in Breastfeeding America and Tri-County Woman Online.
